Buchannans Cheese mongers approached Claire Canning to interior design their new artisan cheese shop in central
London, Connaught Village.
The brief was to create a modern and contemporary boutique space for diverse use from running classes, events, eat in lunches and whole sale supply and to help develop a new aesthetic for their brand and shop interior.
A modern tiled counter was designed using Dtiles for a clean and minimal aesthetic. Behind the counter wall, peg board cladding created a utilitarian look. Oak shelves along the centre of the room also served as eating counters.
A bespoke wallpaper for the rear of the shop was created using pixelated imagery of Roquefort cheese. This design was also used throughout the branding and packaging.
