Working closely with the client, a nautical architect and Dutch boat builders, Claire Canning designed the interiors for a residential, custom built house boat to be moored in Chelsea, London.
With two 26 x 6 metre decks, the upper deck formed an open plan living space with lounge, study and kitchen. The master and guest bedrooms and a central media room situated on the lower deck.
Working with SMC to create an intelligent lighting and music system through out with Lutron controls and a surround sound cinema in the lower deck.
Specification of all custom made joinery with a variety of premium timber and leather finishes.
Contemporary furniture was specified to sit alongside antiques, art and collectables.
